Hi!
My name is Sir Lancelot
“I am four years old and a registered Therapy Dog. Did you know that therapy dogs have very important jobs to do? Mine is loving people! I am smart, curious, brave, and have been training
since I was a puppy. Everywhere we go in the community, I can spot people who would like to hold hands or share my special hug. Sometimes I
even get to do tricks or play games; making people clap their hands and laugh.
I can be quiet, too!
We can read a book together, pray, or watch TV.
When you follow us on YouTube or Facebook, we can go on adventures together at places in our community. It is always a surprise where we end up. Remember to join our
Buddy List.
Join as a class, family, or facility because I can’t wait to meet you and watch how our hearts will be connected by love!”
Who We Are
“I want to tell you about Brave Battle Buddies!”
“My Mom, Tracy, discovered she loved both people and animals while studying a college course in animal assisted therapy. Here’s a secret… She has always been great at loving people. Mom supports folks at The Arc of Atlantic County. She even has her Master’s Degree in Social Work.
My Dad, Elliot, retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force, after serving 32 years in the military. He found my rescue picture online when I was two months old. Dad’s heart is huge and holds many emotions. Some call it a disability and I am trained to support my Dad as his Service Dog. I learn how to love people as I spend time with him. Two of my favorite places to go are the VFW Post # 2189 and the American Legion Post #493, where my Dad serves our Veterans. I love spending time with my Veteran friends.”
What We Do
Our mission at Brave Battle Buddies is to love people using Animal Assisted Therapy and Interventions (AAT/AAI). We bring HOPE by creating a supportive therapeutic environment.
Why We Do It
Brave Battle Buddies believes every person is valuable. Many in our world today are struggling with fear and loneliness. Our vision is to end isolation and bring courage at every visit. We believe because of the love we give each heart is changed and all things are possible!
